Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is everyone back to working in the office 4 and 5 days a week?

Just wondering if there is any consistency across the organization. Is your manager in the office?

@ag hi! I’m fairly new and in WIM and I was wondering if you know if the 4 hours thing is true? I’ve been coming in 3 days but I’m waiting on access to basically everything and have nothing to do so I’ve been leaving after 4 hours and now I’m getting nervous maybe I’m on this so called list….

Technology- 3 times a week for now and foreseeable future. The “8 hours when in office” is fairly new.

3 days per week, averaging fewer than 8 hours per day & probably closer to 6. We’re supposed to go to 4 x 8 in Jan, but manager says that they won’t enforce it since there are no issues with the team’s job performance. I count myself lucky.

3 is the min but each LOB can go up from there, in risk we're going to 4. I bet DF may actually talk about expectations himself during his upcoming townhall.

3 days a week in WIM. Expecting to hear about 4 days any day. I think the space issues have really derailed a lot of the 4 day talk.

I also think that WIM has done most of their layoffs so they don't need more attrition like risk or ops.

Zero communication of anything other than 3 days in office and an expectation of 8 hours a day whether in office or working from home for Global Operations and Consumer Lending. Our leadership has straight up denied four days (or five) is even on the table. Charlie also seems to be ignorant of anything other than the hybrid model we’re currently using (he reiterated again last week at the town hall that he saw no reason to change, and said again that it’s a “competitive advantage).

I’ve been four days a week for a while now, CIB. I have friends who are remote in Calif. (God bless them, not jealous just not sure how they keep pulling that off! - years remote even before Covid).

Still haven't set foot in a WF office more than once in the last decade.

My manager is in another state (same time zone after I was relocated) and we are in office 3 days per week since 2022 and will be 4 days beginning in January.
