No it's not. It will plod right along just as it has after every previous RIF and VSP.
New Sprint is accurate. For network and engineering there's probably a lot of institutional knowledge hitting the doors. In some roles you're doing a great job when nothing seems to happen. Nobody really cares about fire fighters until you have a fire.
I’ve been telling my boss for weeks this feels like Sprint all over again. Everyone who survived today seems to think they are safe. Those of us who spent time at Sprint know what the next few years will be like at Verizon. I’m heartbroken for my peers who are going to be shocked by the next few rounds.
Verizon made a smart move and it should bring in even more profits going forward. This was long over due.
