Just looking for clarity as to how this will unfold. Also, I like my boss, he's a good dude. When will I know if he is safe?

My severance call was at 8:05am this morning, lasted 5 mins.
Ad called everyone this morning, call with survivors at 10. 20% or team got the axe. GNT
Survived many of these. The 'you are safe' call is always in the afternoon after those impacted are notified. In my experience it's been around 3pm.
Was told all required calls to be made by noon est. My leader said they were calling everyone on their team regardless of stay or let go status.
I'll notifications are supposed to be done before 2:00 p.m. Eastern today but as early as possible
