My AD contacted me and He asked to schedule a meet with some vendors next week. Was this BAU and pretending nothing is going on or a sign of being safe?

@OP I heard the RIFs may be staggered over 30/60/90 days so you could be impacted and be part of the last layoff wave. They'll use you up until then.
What org?
This can mean only one of two things:
- Your AD knows your fate and you are safe
- Your AD is impacted and they do not know this yet.
You could still be safe even if 2 is true.
@OP I wouldn’t read into it. You’ll know your fate in less than 24 hours. Good luck.
Most AD’s didn’t know till 5pm your local time or won’t know till the morning (since they were impacted as well)
