I had full access to everything when it happened to me last year - but you will loose the ability to email out attachments. So if you need to email yourself anything from your laptop, now is the time to do it. I did end up staying but there were plenty of job openings at the time. I had an internal job offer the day before my last day. Good luck to all

No, lock out is not immediate. Lock out will happen later in day but not full lock out. You'll have access to email, computer but not likely systems or applicatiions.

@OP No, you will receive a call then have the option to take the rest of the day off and not login Friday. - they still pay for the days, but do this to help you emotionally cope with the news.

Depending on your state, unfortunately if you might have to be here for 90/60/30 days longer.
