I remember when Shankar told Craig that no more cost cuts can be made and that Craig should say NO, while he was telling his cronies and others that Craig ain’t doing enough.

I heard Dan’s PayPal leader has been reaching out to other folks on Shankar’s directs. I hope Vivek and Kalyani are ousted. They also hired Indians who should be seriously investigated into. Wish they tap me for information.
Someone should remind these Tamil mafia about abusing power with below case by creating fake projects in India.

@aa yes, that org is a disaster. It’s a culture issue that has gotten out of control. I’ve seen the most insane behavior. A couple years ago, I watched a GTS India Sr. Manager scream at a Director, VP, and SVP of an organization over a Webex. He called them stupid and told them his team wouldn’t be servicing their organization or delivering on their project after they gave his team and his vendor millions of dollars of their budget. The only repercussion was he got moved to a different team. The VP made it their duty to bring it up the chain and report that the India team in GTS stole their budget for the year and did nothing. The VP who reported it got “retired” a year later, not sure if that was code for pushed out or if they were just too fed up with dealing with VZ India and their budgets getting stolen.
Shankar was one of the first people this got escalated to. He brushed it off, basically called them liars, made a promise to get the project done, then never did anything. I’ve been here over a decade and have seen this exact pattern play out hundreds of times with GTS… millions of dollars disappearing with no project or progress to show for it. Something must be going on, and I’m pretty sure the Ireland sourcing department is in on it because they push the “preferred” vendors who steal the money and attack people when they use a vendor not on their “preferred” list. Even if that vendor is an approved one that already does a lot of work at the company.
These “blacklisted” (but still approved) vendors often do better work for less money. So why do we “prefer” bad vendors? Is it because people might catch on that India is not cheaper? Is it because better work can be done for the same or less money in the U.S.? It’s confusing, seems like a corruption thing that needs to be investigated.
Sometimes this cuts GTS out of projects, but some vendors can do the same things GTS can do if they meet the security requirements. Some vendors even have more credentials to our own systems than GTS teams or the “preferred” vendors because they are stateside, get audited heavily, and carry the right insurances, they can do more sensitive work than the teams we have.
Hope Dan can figure out who the people doing good work actually are. We need to get value from our budgets. Millions (probably billions) have been wasted by sourcing and GTS over the years.
