I am trying to figure out if my boss in ( NJ office ) is safe. In meetings today they talking about the future for various initiatives, reviews we have next week etc. They are not great to work for so my life would be a lot more pleasant without having to report to them. I am thinking maybe they know they are safe...

The calculation for Band 5 severance is the same as Band 6 and below. The only difference is the max weeks. They get 52. No Band 5 is getting $1M. LOL
No band 5 got 1M. The math doesnt even add up.
@aa Enjoy your $! Are you allowed to tell your team yet? My co-worker said IF our boss was let go they still have to work until a certain time and they can't tell anyone about the layoff yet.

Ugh guess I will continue looking for a new role. Can't deal with my boss AND the clusterf*ck that this company for much longer!
They already were notified Monday.
They might be playing it cool until a later date, or pull a stunt like others I have been and just put an away message until January.
