Just a note that there are very few jobs out there to apply for in November and December. Then in January things are still slow in the hiring process at a large company if they are hiring at all. Most will not be hiring.

98% of the jobs currently posted are retail... it seems there is a freeze in hiring for almost all other positions.

They’re hiring overseas, while the pink slips pile up only in the U.S. barely touching India or the Philippines.
And our politicians? Masters of performance art. They’ll write flowery poems about protecting American jobs, then sprint to cave in to outsourcing lobbyists and corporate donors.
