Now they are saying creditors are a "cartel"! Now that's the funniest thing I've seen yet from these clowns.

I’m sure the entirety of the company is structured in such a way. These people are corrupt and immoral. During my time there, leadership worked harder at schemes than they would have ever worked just doing things the right way. This people are corrupt in their DNA. They couldn’t run a legitimate business if their lives depended on it. I believe PD sits at the top of this crumbling, corrupt organization and pulls the strings though he will never be tied to any of the sketchy activity.

The Portuguese executive is suspected of running a scheme whereby Altice was overbilled on procurement and other contracts, leading to allegations that several hundred million euros were siphoned off illegally.

They took a wrecking ball to Cablevision. Packaged out and forced all experienced staff to leave, sold most of the real estate and drove it into the ground. All of those synergies and redundancies! Where did it land them? $1.67 a share! Way to go..

@bt I was working for Suddenlink back in 2015 when the acquisition was announced. None of us really knew anything about the company or PD but when we started doing our research we knew it was not going to be a good thing for any of us. Everything we read about PD and his company was 100% true and we started seeing it immediately. Then in 2016 when the Cablevision acquisition was completed it all went into overdrive with the restructuring, downsizing and dismantling of what were two great companies. I have no doubt the corruption and sketchy ways of doing business were happening from day one of the SL takeover, and 10 years down the road it’s about to all come unraveled.

The former Chief Procurement Officer lives in a $80M Manhattan condo. What more do you need to know?

The PSC and FCC knew about this type of reputation but approved a merger anyway. Remember Bill Parcells when he said, “you are what your record says you are!” Is anyone really surprised?!
