Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Is FACS (Mason OH call center) still around?

I used to work there long ago and was curious if it's still around, and if it's still relevant? I would imagine most of the call center jobs that were there (and in FL and AZ) were all outsourced to India.

Yes. It is called Macys Credit and Customer Service and is still located in Mason Ohio. However, while there are still some executive and other positions located there, most call center jobs are outsourced to the Philippines and other countries.

Arizona closed just prior to Covid. Mason and Florida are both open and relevant. While many phone agent positions are offshore now there are still many employees from these 2 centers. There are also several micro sites with phone agents in the US as well. The US sites have all been a hybrid position since Covid that allows employees to work from home and only reporting onsite for 2 days a week. Rumor is the number of onsite days could be increasing for all employees. The bulk of the offshore work is in the Philippines and Bogota. There is a very small footprint of workers they use from India.
