Any updates or confirmation on RIF November 20th?

On 12/16, about 60 Florida Wellmed employees, nurse coders, in the HCC Coding education department were laid off.
We have a meeting 12/16 for all Austin market. They cancelled all appointments for the clinics 8am - noon are blocked, has anyone heard anything about Austin?
@f4 Dr.wifeof5 is the layoff on 12/18 going to be massive? Will it be all of WellMed?

Florida has been run by the same people for many years now. Nothing changed other than people getting riffed based on poor decisions at the top. UHG made the mistake of letting it go too long. Lots of fire drills and no long-term planning created this mess. My last day is the 18th... ICRIP! LOL
We got a call for 9am ECV updates which is CM team for south Texas , Austin , San Antonio pretty much same as all layoff meetings started with company bs on restructuring and then we were told effective Dec 8 we’re being let go. With a sh---y severance pay of 3-8 weeks this company has no morals or compassion.
Who’s on the target list for December riff’s?

Has anyone received the infamous 8 AM meeting with your leadership for tomorrow?
@gw I was and individual contributor and lost my job along with 2 different VPs I reported to in the past year. I know many people who have been reorged as their leadership has been RIFed in the past 2 years.
@gw I’m a VP and got laid off in October along with other VP’s and SVP’s.
There better be some Vps and Senior VPs being impacted. I’m so sick of actual workers losing their jobs while these senior leaders continue doing absolutely nothing. Pretty soon well be out of individual contributors
@f4 Any idea what teams, departments, grade levels?
Yes. Massive one on 11/20 and one 12/18. My husband is in the know but not a decision maker. If you are not making money or vital for compliance then you are at risk. This one was more hush hush as leaders are catching wind of people knowing. Makes no sense but I guess I’d want to hide doing this to people during the holidays.
I hope there isn’t one since we just had one in October.
