Yes and no.

The 'A' stores, the ones that are highly profitable, have a lot of traffic, are in high income areas, could stay open 5 more years.

Hans wanted everyone to do everything in the app, get rid of all the stores, offshore all the customer service and operate a bare minimum network, all while charging the highest prices in the industry.

As evidenced by his firing, it doesn't work that way.

Postpaid wireless has become exclusively a new phone financing scheme and has very little other value proposition. That is not sustainable.

If the stores aren't going to provide customer service, they may as well offload them to Victra, CSOKI, etc.

It’ll take more than 10 years for Verizon to get to that point. You’ll have to see the current state of indirect stores (victra) 90% of them are on some sc-my practices creating several escalations & also part of the reason our churn is constantly high. Do you think Verizon will just hand off their brand’s keys to indirect? There will be a time there will be less corporate stores sure but it’ll take a very long time until then. And if that is also the plan, Verizon will have taken more serious actions to indirect to check them on practices but that hasnt happened yet. Which means it’ll be a loooooooong time until corporate stores are all closed
