@b1 want to share with the rest of the Internet?
@b1 I am sorry. I wish you the best.
I'm a Senior Director who knew nothing until today, when I got RIF'ed for ki-ling myself for the last 20 years.
It’s as if you’re happy that people aren’t flooding the board confirming they have been RIF’d.
Weird flex.
@ap
why? there is so little "mission critical" work at VZ
most is either bs, paper shuffling or excel spreadsheets
@am Read the room. Meanwhile not sure it's something to celebrate based on what's coming next.

All Band 5 have now been informed. So Senior Directors and AVPs.
Directors and ADs will find out first thing Thursday.
You think their first stop is going to be this site?? They may not even tell their team today. Given the lack of prior higher level layoffs, this is new for them to understand it really happened.
@a3 who?
@a2 ha ha South Park man definitely.Hey guy relax
In my stack B5s found out today.
The schedule that was posted made no reference to Directors and Associate Directors being informed today. Just that they would be told this week, and that impacted employees would be told on Thursday, 11/20. There will likely be a slow rollout over the next couple of days. People will likely be informed later in the day and tomorrow. Don't be surprised that someone who has found out horrible news about their direct reports isn't rushing to this website to share the news. I've posted elsewhere, while people may not feel inclined to have empathy for the person giving them bad news, the reality is that these folks were not the ones who made the decision. At this scale, the decisions are made by a small, select group of people at the highest levels and outside consultants - otherwise - the 15,000 number that appeared a few days ago in the WSJ would have been published much sooner. If you get bad news, stay positive and professional. Your Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director could be assets to you when you're a candidate for another opportunity.
@a5 we could only wish
Starting to see some people on LinkedIn change to "open to work" also
Some told this morning and many will be informed between 4-5 I heard in BaskingRidge location.
