Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

I hope they cut the missing in action employees

I pray only those that weren't working anyway get cut. The ones that are never on any calls, ignore emails, not on slack, you don't even know if they're working or on vacation. Somehow they always get away with it. Whatever that group of people's number is that's the number of employees vz should go down.

@a2 That is a very small percentage who abuse disability, yes they are some useless employees that barely show up and abuse disability but its the coworkers who has to pick up that persons slack and shift work, you cannot label all "union" employees as abusers when its a small percentage and its there coworkers who get punished by working their coworkers shifts and doing their work since they are not there.

The hate is real to union employees its called collective bargaining so this doesnt happen without a true voice. Yes we get full pay disabilty and will.continue to.use it always. Instead of worrying about your co workers pocket worry about the vps parachutting out of plains on company time or golf.get real and focus it upwards nobody in the union is making millions or even hundred thousands.

Typical vz employee watching their coworkers pockets instead of their leaders. Might as well lick boot.

Meanwhile you have union employees who work their 2,080 hours then take a year off on FMLA and disability, then come back for 2,080 hours and repeat, over and over, nonstop cycle, accumulate pay, benefits, and pension. I know of at least, personally, and it's disgusting to watch.

And yes, pension, bc they were hired before it was frozen/removed.
