Job hunting after work feels like having two full time jobs. I shut one laptop just to open another and hope the next application is the one that finally clicks. And none of them do. Are others having more luck than I?

@a3 it's a NA thing, quite similar to nepotism in other cultures, but without the relatives being involved. It's the "Who you know, not What you know" idea.

Have your resume professionally reviewed and edited to get past the AI filters.
This may sound simplistic but please shut down that '2nd' laptop and reach out to your network. Former work colleagues, college friends, relatives, roommates, neighbors.
It is a rite of passage to get laid off in this industry and it happens to everyone at some point.
On the day you get your first job out of college, networking should always be a part of your job either daily or weekly.
I have known many extremely talented people who neglected to build a reciprical network.. (ie: always be willing to help those who are searching because eventually you will be looking). These folks felt very comfortable at their companies and then 25 years down the road that 15 minute calendar invite from your bosses boss shows up on your calendar. It happens to all of us.
I got all my jobs thru my network...Long before LinkedIn. I know it's hard and easier said then done but this has to be step one in your search.

Yup I feel you, been on the search almost 6 months now, yet to find the perfect match but will keep pushing, something will definitely come through
