The racist comments in here are nothing but noise. Blaming Indians or H-1Bs is a lazy excuse for people who can’t handle the fact that leadership is slashing headcount to make the financials look cleaner.
Nobody is “replacing” anyone. This isn’t some ethnic conspiracy - it’s a cost-cutting spree. If people actually paid attention, they’d see that core teams, critical functions, and already-understaffed groups are getting hit too.
Pointing fingers at coworkers instead of the people making the decisions is exactly why these layoffs keep getting spun however leadership wants. They gut teams, workloads explode, and somehow the internet decides the problem is immigrants? Give me a break.
If folks want to be mad, be mad at the decisions being made at the top - not at the people who had zero control and are just trying to earn a living like everyone else.

It’s an untrue picture that’s being painted about the demographics of the ppl that were let go. Bulk of them were Asians/South East Asians as well.
With that said, I don’t foresee another round until Q1.

Also know the decision makers are all single colored self-appointees. I am hoping the new administration will bring light and sense to what’s happening….we are all facing the brunt not just certain segments/groups of the society.
You never know but if there is going to be another round, it's going to be early December. After that you should be safe for at least 3 months or probably more.
Nothing next week, but there is an ongoing focus on ridding the company of caucasians, so that the company will be essentially completely Indian.
Caucasians, who created the company, will be beggars in their own nation.
