Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Their plan

It's so disgusting, and obvious to me that Mondelez's plan is to overwork sales reps, burn them out, over schedule them, make their routes too big to handle, whatever they can do to get people to quit versus paying them a severance to go.

Mondelez clearly wants to clean house, get rid of all the tenured, long term employees, and any benefits associated with those employees.

This company wants low paid employees, with little to no benefits or perks.

Well guess what? When it's all said and done, that's what you'll have...

Yeah this company loves to micro manage, and it's like their only strategy to grow is to squeeze Salaried SRs.

It’s pretty clear the company has no idea what it’s doing.

If they care about saving/making money look into fixing the issues the have been happening for years. Ritz are always damaged, product unglued, etc. Nope absolutely nothing has been done.

Let’s get rid of the reps who knows what’s best. Makes sense. I can do this job in my sleep. I don’t need a rms, dm, sim, or what have you, hovering over me telling me what needs to be done. Everything I need is right in front of me. They need to eliminate the dead weight. Not the ones ki----g themselves.

As to the prior poster. I was here during the super territory nonsense way way back, what a joke. Didn’t work and they did away with it. But here they are trying to do something again, that didn’t work, and expecting it to.

This was my career, but now it’s just a job. I come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. I’ve lost all respect for this company.

They attempted "super territories" in our area years ago, failed miserably. Funny that they rolled it out across the country. This plan has been in the works for years, and years. Get out now or get the boot, you pick. Only gonna get worse.
