How happy are those in CM and UM roles? Have there been any layoffs in the last 2-3 years for these positions? The workload and expectations are impossible unless you work a 9-10 hour day everyday. Coincidentally the positions are salaried. Try to get time off and most of the time it’s denied. Only working a half day, you’re still expected to meet the same productivity as if you’re working a full day. No work/life balance, the culture is demeaning, managers that have zero leadership skills… the culture is all around toxic. I don’t t see any posts on here specific to UM/CM and being new to the company I’m curious about others’ experiences.

You are on the mark. The scams are born in UM. Gagliardi gave lectures that you could get the member to do anything if you gave them a small incentive. One of the ringleaders had his license revoked for unlawful distribution of opi--ds in California and lying to the investigator. This is a Toxic Waste Site. This gem got 4 years of supervised practice. His lawyer got the sentence reduced to time served. Then the lawyer was disbarred. You can be promoted for heading new unlawful schemes. Otherwise, you will be buried in a toxic bureaucracy.
