Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Is DXC the worse company in the U.K. ?

As far as I can work almost all U.K. companies are doing a cost of living pay round this year. I’ve not yet come across one that failed to give a cost of living hike or a payrise.

Can anyone else name a U.K. company that isn’t giving a cost of living increase this year in the U.K. ?

All FDS staff in the UK were sent a welcome pack consisting of Pen, Notebook, Water bottle, mouse mat and a cr---y bag
Been with DXC 5 years since being Tup'eed from Manpower (So a bit confused when I received the welcome cr-p), last payrise 1.6% in 2013 courtesy of HPE.

It's clearly not just existing DXC employees that know how terrible DXC is, from the trebling of employee referral bonus it's clear that prospective employees know too.
Of course according to leaders there is no attrition problem and no problem recruiting, yeah right!

Ams is not cheaper they are high cost too, and guess what India APAC etc costs too much money now too see the layoffs that happened in that region genius! And if there weren’t hoops to jump through emea folks would have been long gone, actually those hoops the govt put in place contribute to the high cost of the region and is probably the only reason they haven’t been cut because DXC would have to pay even more. The fact is the company is going down the drain, and as it’s circling the execs and upper management are robbing the place blind while the minions do or don’t do the work, bi--h about being used and abused, and instead of doing anything about it you come here Iinstead, either way they don’t care, and it’s all too expensive, that’s what happens when your expenses out weigh your revenue and you can’t bring in any new business that is worth a damn, but you can call me a shill or troll or whatever you’d want if that makes your feel feels better, it won’t change your situation or the fact that you are a wage slave for a sh---y tech company that doesn’t contribute anything positive to society.

To answer the original question, yes.
And for bizarrely pro-DXC Mikey suck-ups on here, no business in the UK? That's odd as I'm pretty sure Lloyd's of London is a UK based business, and that's a big enough deal to get our glorious leader to make an appearance and schmooze the customer.

That account also answers the OP question, Lloyd's got positive press for making a one off cost of living payment to all their staff on less than £75k due to the exceptional circumstances this year, DXC of course did nothing.

All of you company shills and forums trolls can stop with the "your location is high cost" or "offshore is cheaper" fallacies. In APAC and AMS, layoffs continue unabated, despite being the "cheaper" option, whatever that means. Whether that person in APAC or AMS is billable or not, you're shown the door sooner or later. Yes, EMEA is receiving preferential treatment when it comes to WFRs because of complex labor laws. It's easy to look in front of you while a blood bath is commencing behind you. Nothing like celebrating Christmas with a pink slip.

Most of the UK staff couldn’t give a To$$ about DXC and Man U deal . If anything it makes it worse as they spent about 50-100M on the deal and still F*ccked staff over ..

I've worked for dxc/csc since 1994, and my last pay rise was in 2010! This is an absolutely shocking company to work for. I was transitioned from dxc to a nedmw company (FDS) in 2017, and hoped for a new start with better pay and progression. But guess what, this DXC spin off is even more shocking, and still no pay rise in 5 years with this shower. So much for the employees being their greatest assett! At this rate I'll be on minimum wage in a couple of years, probably earning less than the toilet cleaners! Have a great career in dxc and fds!

The fact is you cost too much for DXC to even care already, they want you out. Your shame attempt won’t work. If you want a raise, get a new job, simple as that, it’s the only way.

In DXC, you get some pay and self-training opportunities.
Its up to you, skill up in your own time so you progress, or fester away complaining.

You will never get a pay increase ever.

There, I've fixed it for you
