Merry RIF-mas 🎄, thanks for all the hard work and sacrifice. Thank you for putting your Dreams on hold and neglecting your family and health for the sake of making the shareholders and Execs an extra dollar in their Bonuses and Golden parachutes. Now GTFO your services are no longer needed.

@OP There are obviously exceptions to the rule but for the most part, the people most worried about getting laid off are people that know deep down their positions at Verizon are not providing any real value to the company. The entire 5G home team for example
I understand cleanup and reorg, but can we do this more humanly, people have spent years into this company, have bought houses around it and settled their life. Can we not encourage or give people time to align with new ideas and new org structures, before asking atleast low level people to go ? They were never responsible for the mess in the first place, let them be interviewed into this new roles or let them reskill themselves and prove their capabilities before we deem them unfit in a mass cut.
Thank you for your contribution to my dividend. I look forward to the next distribution!
Verizon is a significantly underperforming company. Cost cutting is necessary to improve business financials and raise stock price for shareholders.
