All Pat Gelsinger does is cut

I dont know why everybody was so happy he came back here. All he did at VMware were layoffs.

Why would you over pay new employees who know nothing about the job they’re doing and sc--w existing employees who should be experts? Retention is a huge issue, people puddle jump every year to find the easiest job and get rewarded, people who stay get screwed. Intel creates logic but they don’t use it, best quote to sum up the whole company.

I still recall a lot of ppl cheering for him when he push everyone salary to above 90% compa ratio.

At that time I already said this is not sustainable, your every new hire grade and salary will be bloated. And that time there were so many hiring.

But I got whacked, sigh.
