As long as they are fully done with layoffs next week I'll be happy, whether I'm affected or not. This wait and the endless speculation are ki-ling me. I need to move on and get to the point where I'm able to fully focus on my work (or search for a new job) once again. Anything is better than this.

Calm down and keep innovating. Workforce right sizing is an essence in distressed demand cycle. Good skills have a lot of demand.

Cuts are going to continue happening, it’s not a 1-time deal.
I agree. By this time next week it will be over and I can get back to work if I'm not fired
