@1dve+1kWxd7tE did constructive confrontation work ?
Don't be afraid to raise your hand and call them out. Ask the hard questions and demand solid answers. If they can't give good answers then walk out of the meeting.
That will send a strong message; and remember, Intel is nothing without dedicated hardworking employees.
Watch Christy. She was hired for this.
If he's going to start preaching mid meeting I'm done lol
They'll probably say something vague like "continuing the cpm actions from q4" to not say that there's an additional wave of layoffs, but that they were always planned. Gaslighting basically, is what I've come to expect
Intel is so broken at the moment what is the messiah going to say, same silly things he says to Wall Street, We are ahead of plan, what an amazing year blah blah blah. This guy is so disingenuous it is beyond belief.
So many engineers in my team are still in vacation mode, quiet quitting...
Staff meeting, only half showed up. All kinds of excuses, emergency, dental/medical appointments...
Chopping off 50% in our team I'm not going to be surprised...
30k layoffs coming soon.
I’m a ‘hand’ and do not have any corporate meetings on my calendar?
"All hands" meaning "all out of hands" and "not in our hands".
All layoffs are done. Most of cost cutting target of $3B achieved by crooked CEO/CFO doing accounting change. Depreciating fabs for 8 years instead of 5. Religious pat doesn’t want to do anymore layoffs.
Intel inside, soon to be ex-Intel outside. Stay tuned, don't touch that dial!
Somethings got to give
If they’re not announcing layoffs or another CPM, what’s the point of even having this meeting?
Earnings were released, no sugarcoating the situation. No need to patronize employees and talked to as “a family”
Yes
While i dont think they’ll specifically announce the layoffs tomorrow but it is a high possibility that there might be some layoffs from mid feb - end of march
