How did you know? Good guess. 5% Cuts grade 7 and up. Goodbye qpb and recognition. No increase this year. At least 2 quarters if not longer.

No. Just the grade 9s and above should cut pay. We carry them on our backs anyway.
perhaps ceo should stop getting paid for 1 year to save intel
@eaw+1kVGh0zE same. Intel shut be cut about 30% of workforce.
I’ll give up pay increases for extra RSUs, but I’ll be looking for another job ASAP if there are pay cuts or no rewards cycle.
You talk a big game, but the economy is in decline and we are headed to recession in the back half of the year. Good luck maintaining you posture when we get there.
No, the skills and value I provide is the same. It's not my fault if Intel is misdirected. Intel is not my family, it's a giant business and it can afford to pay me. If Intel was making a loss that's maybe a different story, but they're just not making enough profit. Sorry to all the poor stock market investors. It must be very hard
The only cut I'd accept if it would be guaranteed to be back paid after a certain amount of time.
Regular ICs shouldn’t be punished for the faults of MCM. If anyone is to take pay cut..it should start at the top! They put Intel in this position….
As the ‘family’….that was broken up long ago along with GPTW!
Make Intel a Pyramid Again
Word. Every comment before this one is spot on.
No. But I can easily point you to 3 other employees, whose job I could do in about 2-3h/day combined, for a 50% raise.
Diversity hiring got us here.
The real problem is Intel has too many of the wrong employees. I'm referring to too many VPs, Fellows, PEs, and Directors.
No. The problem is SHI**Y management and poor decision making. Get rid of this ELT and upper/middle managers; otherwise we will be here again in a heart beat.
I would prefer an exit package to a pay cut
Why would high performers should take pay cut because of coasters?
While a nice gesture, sadly pay cuts aren’t the problem with Intel nor can cutting pay nor layoffs fix Intel.
Only if VP up took on tech salary under 100k and pat g. took on 1 dollar.
I'm more than happy to share to keep all of us afloat. But not those making more than 100k.
Most of Intel is already taking a pay cut via the stock price and bonus slashing. I'll likley be down 20%-25% this year alone from my inglorious 60K / year income.
Time to look at in and out burger, I guess.
Intel "family"? ROFL. It's a just another company that won't hesitate to lay you off at the sneeze of an activist investor. Except your severance package will look more like Twitter's than Google's.
Pat didn't even "take full responsibility" yet. Hold on to your butts.
Part out the company now. Give the employees good packages on their way out.
