Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why the bring back posts?

Why are there so many posts on who should be brought back to fix the situation? Your future is not in the past, period. You need a new strong leader who will break down the grade 10-14 people who can't see the future and won't go away on their own. Intel has built a Rube Goldberg machine that needs 130K+ people to run it. It is not sustainable. If you work at Intel and you want the company to succeed than you need to step up and make changes. The competition does things cheaper and more efficiently. Intel doesn't have some magic plan that will fix everything. The current plans will only work if the competition takes 3-5 years off and that isn't going to happen. I doubt that TSMC, AMD, or NVIDIA are even slightly worried about Intel making a come back unless the current Intel employees take a stand and fix their own problems. Even then it will be a long haul back. No one from the past will come back and fix Intel. The current CEO included.

I tried for years to change and improve many systems and processes and Intel kicked me out in the 2016 lay off. I was actually successful in many many projects for more than 15 years. I had one period of time with 5 years of Outstanding performance reviews in a row. No promo and my diversity LGBT female manager gave me a BE and ruined my career. Good luck.

Well as I said than Intel is finished. The way of the past won’t work x86 and IDM is a broke.strategy and IFS even more.

Intel past the tipping point and the sooner the leaders realize that the sooner Intel can move to a strategy that they can survive at.
