So with layoffs this week (official end date 02/09/23) Does anyone know when we could expect the next wave? I love my job but seriously have zero job security and that's not healthy for anyone of us!

My BU was notified we would get a "transition email" on March 9. Head of our BU sent us a goodbye email on 2/9 as redundant due to the reorganization.
Enough with the T Minus…a) we can count and b) the RIFs have already started today.
T Minus 1 Day
Any particular department tomorrow? I heard all remote positions are being sent overseas. We moved back to a hybrid schedule a few weeks ago.
Tomorrow is the big day.
T Minus 2 Days
Direct reports are shaking in their shoes. 2/9 is the day for all the additional RIFs. Had someone walk out on Friday due to the uncertainty. It’s a shame.
@akey+1kTapDYc there is going to be a big round of notifications this week on 2/9
Just to clarify, 2/9 is the last day for people who got let go in January, right? Is there an expectation that more layoffs will occur on 2/9?
T Minus 3 Days
QE Org has been complete dismantle at change. now all QE has to report Dev. Not good move.!
Optum typically terms once a month on a Thursday (heard it is rarely more than once a month). 2/9 is the day, it isn’t going to be pretty on the Change side. 3/9 is the March date: not as many operations terms in March. Unsure which date will heavily impact support functions and shared services, probably depends if you can make the life of someone important easier for another month. Will be interesting to see if January performance causes an acceleration to terms (pulling 3/9 to 2/9), however that may not be possible with the transition of HR systems.
What a fantastic contribution, @3dlr+1kTapDYc. I can't imagine anyone that visits "The Layoff" would have the same concern.
I’m wondering the same thing!
Based off previous threads, sales and marketing was heavily affected.
Which areas were affected? This is news to me.
