Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Would you trust Allstate as your home/auto insurer?

Would you trust them to pay your fairly if you had to make a claim, or if someone you hit had to make a claim on your policy?

No, but it’s not the payout I would be worried about. They have to pay what they owe, but after what I witnessed working in the claims department I would be worried about the timeliness and level of service.

I would but they don't write where I live.

I would not take a leak on Allstate if it was on fire. Why would I buy their products?

Being in auto claims and how we work to lowball as much as possible I would not insured anything with Allstate. I got my grandparents and parents away from Allstate a few years ago.

I work in auto total loss and in three years I have not received a complaint on the amount of payoff for vehicles. Read the reviews on other carriers and they can't say the same.

I'm an IA that works with 11 carriers including Allstate. Their HO product is very sub par. Claims used to be pretty good. Now they are terrible. I would not insure my auto/home/etc with them.

No. There's a reason that they're called "AllTake"
