Thread regarding Ford layoffs

GTH 2 weeks apart?

Why are there 2 GTH just 2 weeks apart? We just had one on 1/23, why do we need to waste more time with another one already on 2/9? Are they going to announce US job cuts at that one?

The Sales & Inventory team doesn't even get a bonus even though they are in one of the most time demanding positions after restructure.

The point is to communicate before a blow-up of employees emotions on social media like with last years bonuses and cuts.
Have you not noticed last years freep articles being reposted this week on yahoo news etc as if they are this years news? The ones on how Farley worked all weekend to lead the effort to adjust AICP to be more fair, and how Ford needs to right-size US salaried workforce? That tells you exactly what is coming. It is the Ford leadership game to use freep employees to pre-communicate upcoming actions, then smooth things over in an all hands meeting.

Calm down please. Bunch of lies in this thread. I believe the short 2 week time (than the regular one month) Town Hall is for our leadership to be more transparent to employees about the high level corporate workings of the company. There is a lot happening concurrently with the company and automotive sector right now.

GTH are always two weeks apart. If you are not interested, don't watch it.

So they can explain why you are only getting a 38% AICP. But how they are going to push it up to 50%.
