Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

From experience I can tell you Intel is probably the best company of the planet at creating excess processes that add zero value. You can work your bu-t off, but if the process you are engaged in doesn't create any kind of productive output the energy is lost forever. It is at this point where you may realize that you are only on this earth for a very short while and why would you spend even one more nanosecond working on project or task that is utterly meaningless. Even then, you may still be passionate about making semiconductors and there are plenty of other companies to work for if that is what you live for.

I wasted too many years getting INTC peanuts before I woke up and got actually valuable stock elsewhere.

@op the kind of replies you would see in this thread is the reason why intel is where it is ..

I wish I could dig in the pockets of each of those individuals at higher grade levels which pushed for all the acquisitions such as nervana, barefoot ... all of those individuals got huge raises for pushing those through and all of that money is now evaporated ...

While hard working people work, there are people at the top that get paid for their bad decisions.

This is obviously a troll. This sentence makes no sense and posting on an anonymous forum during work hour does not seem like working to me.

This post must've been written by someone working in one of the touchy-feely roles that keeps trying to push Intel away from being a tech company and into some image of environmental and social harmony.
