Best employees left a long time ago but the rest continue to leave as well. Can Allstate retain anyone anymore? I doubt it. It's just sheer luck for this company that some are still here but they will leave as soon as they get the chance. I don't know where this company is headed?

Many left because the lack of an identity or coherent plan. It seems they know that but I’m not sure it’s of much concern right now. Many companies have retention issues right now. Companies are willing to overpay for new talent but continue to give current talent 2% raises, ignoring the job market. There has some to be some middle ground when it comes to talent evaluation and management in conjunction with employee retention.
It is d-mbfounding the incredible talent that keeps leaving. From solid, loyal front line employees, to some of the best leaders in the industry. Having left a while ago myself, it's heartbreaking to see a once great company fall so far from internal strife. I guess allstate has always reflected society on some level, so maybe not too much of a surprise.
Allstate is having customer retention problems also.
