Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Can Someone Explain the Volume?

Why the well below average stock volume yesterday and already over 2x average volume today? Institutional buying? Something else?

Well I'm smart enough to know it's Maybe, not May be. How about everyone else?

Blackrock is not a "company" buying into a company. They are a Fund. They make money just as Apollo does.
They'd only buy shares to out maneuver Apollo. Not because they want to buy Avaya and return things to normal.

Correct. No matter how you spell Rainy, they ain't no f'in fund. Whoever the he-l actually believes they burned someone who has accurately called out the ridiculousness is beyond out of touch. There is absolutely no secret fun money fund to just magically save Avaya. They likely also believe Mickey Mouse is Real (is it Micky or Mickey)?

“Crazy in a box” sold pictures and donated it to buying stock. Big jump next week when articles of used Avaya swag will go on sale. May be rumors of a “Crazy in a box” NFT supported by global SVP of sales

OMG! The loser who believes Avaya has a Rainey ☔ Day Fund 💰 is Back!

Are you for real? How many times have you been proven wrong yet you actually think has money sitting around to use however they want while they are FIGHTING to secure $450m in DIP Loans?

Ask yourself this question, why would would a company buy stock in a company that supposedly will be filing bankruptcy knowing they will lose it all? Or do they know something that others don't yet? Stock to shoot up in price, no bankruptcy....

Don't forget about the rainy day fund avaya has, they have plenty of money that they can use anytime they need to pay off debt or whatever else comes along. Maybe they are using it to buy back stock.

Mo--ns.

Why would you ask this question without checking the low hanging fruit like the SEC filings?

Blackrock filed a. 13g tha they bought up 8.8% of shares on Dec 31 (they added to existing that led to 8.8). They filed 13g today (very suspiciously delayed).

It has inspired hope in market. There is no one bigger than blackrock. And Blackrock despises Apollo.

I heard the high volume was due to a laundromat owner collecting all the quarters the day before.
