Voluntary transitions opened in QC

It seems QC is in search of voluntaries to leave the company before enforcing it. Voluntaries are being offered a slightly better severance package than regular layoff. Window to rise up your hand is this week only. After that, it seems something massive is coming. Have you heard about it?

Why can't the company layoff some HR people who don't do actual work? Including ones that only help management lie, ignore all legitimate requests from employees.

I heard VP's running teams doing "me too" copycat research that doesn't bring any revenue to Q have volunteered to leave and shut down their teams, so they can go back to playing tennis at Santa Fe Tennis Club. They felt a bit of guilt collecting paychecks for doing nothing of value. Oh wait, I was dreaming....

Completely fake. The reason this doesn’t happen is because the bottom 25% know it and would never volunteer to leave.

The top 10-20% of productive workers would happily take a huge payout, knowing they can easily get a job elsewhere, whereby companies are left with the worst performers (see Twitter).

If anything, they will cut the bottom 5% in terms of ratings and performance and then continue upward.
