This is a d-mb move. Ford has a chance of selling more EVs in Europe than they ever will in the US.
Very short-sighted.
Selling a pre-built facility to the Chinese wouldn't be cutting costs. It would be surrender.
If the European market is so bad and deprived of opportunity, why are 15 automakers considering to buy Saarlouis?

They have to pay their construction (aka destroying countryside) bills in Tennessee. They should put their blue oval city up for sale now too!
