I'm an adult who has been in the workforce for longer than a year. I always have my resume up-to-date.

The employees who were casualties of the mandate look smarter and smarter by the day. They got screwed, yes, but they got a great head start on everyone else lining up new or better jobs.
The people being let go late last year and now this year are job searching in a recession. Company after company is laying people off, and jobs are drying up. Inflation is still high, ordinary expenses still high. Not good.
For the person who is making the mouse mover comment. Please verify when you get laid off. I would like to drink a beer at your expense.
