And dont be too sensitive as the market has people on edge. Step up and do the needful to the end. Remember your customer!!! Dont let silly words hold you down chin up and March on

This is complete BS. I busted my a-s and showcased my work. I take out the bully trash and get paid well. 😤 If you have someone violating code of conduct then you should let your lead know. Also, you should tell someone straight up to kick rocks if they ever talk down to you. This is not how we do business period.

This is more than 100% accurate. I was always a top performer and due to my tenure even capped out on salary increases. I was given many opportunities: worked projects, trained new hires, relief managed, and did all the 'crud' nobody else wanted to do because everyone knew I'd get it done and get it done right. When it came time to apply for one or more of the roles I worked outside my normal job description (after encouragement from leadership) I was turned away time and time again. All I got was 'I'm sorry, work harder' from the same leadership that encouraged me to apply for the things I was doing and excelling at. That made me question my abilities and maybe if THEY were holding me back to keep doing what I was doing with less pay. I was always faithful and finally left after 20+ years. When I gave my two week notice I didn't realize that my last day would be April 1, and everyone straight up thought it was a joke, even tho I ensured everyone it was no joke. When I inquired about returning my WFH equipment everyone finally realized it was no joke. I'm extremely happy in my new leadership role with the new FI I work for, and they entrusted me to help start up a new department they created from scratch. I actually like going to work again and I love going into the office every single day because happy people and laughter. So to all the Top Performers out there, you ARE doing an amazing job, and just know there is life outside of what you're doing and many employers that will respect your work, pay you more and will help you find your happy!
