Layoff trend?

Hey all. Worried with all the news everywhere of cutting down employees. Any clue if centene will follow suit?

Based on the Q4 results, it seems certain that those in Medicare need to be concerned about layoffs. The problem will be who gets cut - most teams are running thin as it is so cutting more deeply won’t help fix uncompetitive sales and product strategies.

I wonder if this becomes more of a reality based on the big 4th quarter losses. Anyone have any updates based on recent earnings call?

If People leaders decide then get ready. They decide promotions and transfers. How ironic is it that there are complaints about management but yet these are the decision makers. There are some good ones but I haven’t seen any in my state.

Total guess here but we’re entering that window when Centene does a first round of layoffs for the year (before bonus payout). That way they can include your bonus as part of a severance package to make it look better.
