Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Allstate looking to hire laid off tech workers

So a couple of news outlets are reporting that Allstate is looking to staff up tech workers, looking to capitalize on the flood of available talent set loose by the recent layoffs.

Are they going to try to attract people on the West Coast with Chicago salaries.

If you work in tech at Allstate or Arity, what would you tell potential job seekers?

I wouldn't hire them anyways. They worked for Big Tech that had no problem in censoring free speech. Bunch of Communists who never actually worked for a living.

could you imagine a central californian tech worker use to making 150k a year and being able to do adult things during the day on company time getting a job working claims?

I honestly do not think those people understand what a bad job is, in any normal sense.

Thats what makes it so hard explaining how horrible claims is to someone with a normal adult job, it just looks like you are a liar, no way things would be like that at a large company ect ect ect.....

Hey Wilson! Try excelling in the insurance industry first and foremost. Stick to what Allstate does best and that is insurance.

Why not trying hiring professionals from the insurance industry. Let’s took a look at hiring talent from Progressive and Geico, that know how to to sell insurance in the direct channel. Let’s heist folks from State Farm that know the agent model!

Wilson continues to bring in marginal talent from Farmers Insurance (Troy Hawkes) and Nationwide (TerranceWilliams) that have produced little to no results. Remember you are what you eat.

Tech is in India. These recent American techies who will be looking for work in the states won’t have the glut of available jobs they may think. Allstate isn’t the only company lovin on India and their cheap labor. In addition, these techies coming off the good jobs they had do not want to deal with customers voice to voice. They don’t have those types of skills and they don’t want to do it for $18-25 an hour when they were making $75
