Replacing agile project and program mgrs by product and engineering teams... many problems could arise from this, right?

Most companies do this… Almost all tech product managers are/should be agile certified.
In my experience ADLs don't know the business or technology. Found them as a middle person.
Yes. The person tracking their time and priorities has to be someone different from the engineering teams and product managers are less hands on for the day you day things, and now those product teams will be overwhelmed.
