Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

No one has regrets about leaving

I'm glad that people are better off then they were here, but at the same time it's kind of sad not knowing a single person who regrets leaving Dell. At least I don't know anyone, do you?
It seems that nobody who leaves here would ever come back.

Happy to be one of the thousands laid off September 2022, not interested in coming back.

I was laid off in 2020. Glad to be gone. Work at a smaller company with better pay and realistic expectations. I miss the people I directly worked with except for the spineless worm management. Especially one dufus in Europe... I hope he's enjoying his enrollment in Scientology

if you left...why are you here???? Post on your new companies layoff page. You're insignificant here. You didn't get laid off, you're a quitter instead. That's worse.

I left Dell to get away from travel and came back right as pandemic hit. Been a bumpy ride but recently transferred to another org (with a pay bump) and I am very happy. The thing about any organization this large is you have different experiences in different orgs. It’s not all the same. I found that to be true even with my over a decade time at Microsoft.

Seems like a lot of Negative trolls on these threads. I was concerned about layoffs in my last org but switched to a critical role and could r be happier.

It really depends on the department. Most people on my team say this is the best job & coworkers they ever had

Leave Mikey’s cult and don’t look back. But if you do look back you’ll see him counting his $$$$$$$$$.

Can confirm. Left, no regrets after leaving. Only hated having to withstand that toxic bullsh-t to have that "brand name" on my resume. I was expected to allow others to take credit for my work, and I've never seen this level of racism and hatred before.

All from a "woke" company - fu-k

No regrets here. Getting paid 40% more for doing 1/3 the work and no longer have to deal with the stress of the absolute circus that was incompetent upper management. Leaders outside of Dell actually know how to do their jobs.

If I were to get laid off or find something else, probably no way I'd ever come back to Dell.
