Sounds like a PHY issue to me.

Still, it serves Intel right for laying off competent Intel Validation Engineers in favor of inexperienced contractors in "low cost GEOs" and trying to automate all of their testing just to save money.

Management was repeatedly warned it was a mistake and it fell on deaf ears.

I speak from experience.

I am laughing at the Intel ELT...id--ts.

  1. 5GbE? I suspect most would just use 1GbE or buy a separate card for 10GbE. If you really need speed, go with 10GbE.
