Thread regarding Hitachi Vantara layoffs

With layoffs announced at FANG companies, is Vantara next?

With all of these announcements of massive layoffs this week it just a matter of time for Vantara to do its dirty work.

HV believes their employees are chattel. That being said, it's no different being at other large global corporations.

“It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another.”

I once had RK in a meeting with a global account. At the end the customer said - we could have managed this meeting without RK. Top exec. Lol

The execs are recycled every 2 years because they can't hire anyone capable. RKs exit lines with this. Layoffs will come end of fiscal year and they'll replace GK with another incompetent CEO.

This is the way.

I've talked to senior leadership before and they've said it's not a matter of if - just a matter of when.

It's either at end of fiscal year or mid q1.

I believe we will go through another round of layoffs. Leaders are anticipating layoffs will happen due to HV's habit but are unsure if they actually will.

Next? Ha ha. They've been doing layoffs for at least seven years and it's not going to stop until they put up the tombstone.
