It means your in an affected work group and you could be surplused.
It means to kindly bend over and wait for the next layoff in February.
Ask your supervisor if your laid off. Call HR and ask if your laid off. Don’t worry, be happy
If you haven’t been notified, it only means you have a 6 month reprieve from this horrible never ending cycle.

You are going to find yourself in the basement and they are going to take away your red Swingline stapler. After a few weeks of coming back to work, you will begin to wonder why your paychecks aren't being direct deposited.
I wish people would quit saying it means that you are laid off if you didn't get an "all clear". That is simply not true. I've only had an "all clear" once since I've worked here (9 years) and I am still here. I didn't get an all clear this time around, either. Nobody that I know in my org received such a communication.
It means your laid off. Pack your stuff up today and don’t show up Monday.
Notification depends on the manager, in my experience.
If you were not affected, most (but not all) managers will find you and let you know.
I once had a manager get the notice and then call me to say I'm not on surplus, but that she was. Awkward!
Also had a manager for whom I worked for years who talked to me about 3 times for a total of two minutes over many hundreds of days of direct reporting. He never notified me.
If they’ve Already made announcements in your org, maybe you got missed. Reach out to your manager. If they haven’t made announcements in your org, chances are they haven’t gotten to you yet. Don’t worry it’s coming. It impacts all orgs.

It means that the company did not do the needful, this time... You may remain in the US and your H1B status is safe for now.
You will be notified if you are getting laid off, period. There are no more ‘all clear’ notices, no news is good news.
I'm nervous too now. Did y'all get all clear emails? If a cycle goes through and some get all clear and some don't, does that mean the second group is still under threat?
Or you are not in the group that is affected.
I had that happen. I was surplused. I got back on in a new org
