Yeah there are plenty of jobs being posted on workday everyday. Not buying that there’s a hiring freeze at the moment. Maybe there will be one.

Everyday I see new hires listed. There is no way there is a hiring freeze at HQ. There is a hiring splurge.

Someone asked about a hiring freeze. There is one at HQ (kind of); all new positions require a ton of approval before posting. Also, each new salary offer requires approval. I don't know if layoffs are coming, but I don't think anyone can trust that a corporation has its best interest at heart.

I really hope they lay off the "work" from home crowd

Why hasn't there been a hiring freeze yet if they plan on layoffs in March?

HQ and Distribution. With all stores filling direct to guest, no longer a need for this size distribution network. Do your research and look back at what happened about 10 yrs ago. DCs closed, HQ teams scaled back to bare bones, entire teams cut loose. And now, the economy is shifting again, and there’s fat to be trimmed.

Layoffs in stores or corporate, or both?
