Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Time for new leaders

With Mickey not seen for a year, Finchie AWOL and sending out stupid emails, Vinoddy disappeared, drumgoo wal transformed nothing, its time for new management. Saving of 40 million in one hit.

After 3 years the company is shrunk massively, staff haven't been paid, customers are leaving, new staff have to be paid 1.5 times the rate of existing staff to come to DXC, the company is heading nowhere except downhill.

This management can only run with one idea "Cut", they have proved the can't do "growth "

Time for a new team who can go forwards not backwards.

We had a mid manager who used to to speak honest straightforward talk on calls. Giving true answers.

He has recently been put in place of a more senior manager who has left the company.

He has gone gone from honest straight talk to bullsh-t and spin on calls. And how doing thinks another way eg cuts will somehow salvage DXC.

When people asked him about pay he did the normal avoid and swerve the questions.

All the second bull is about savings and cuts.

Its amazing how DXC doctrine turns good men into bullsh-tters who can only cut the company to 0 and collect the employees pay raises for themselves.

Just keep hearing old doctrine, yet to hear from managers who talk of growth and employee raises.

If you hear from one share his name.

Problem is that DXC is not very profitable and never has been!

They try to compete in the worlds of TCS, HCL etc and their margins are way higher, they have even better client satisfaction (although DXC are in top 5 in a few european countries but TCS tops the list almost allover.

Only option is to have tight cost control … not great … but nescessary.

Time for a new job. You’re delusional if you think DXC is even salvageable.

managing the company with minimum layoffs and turning around

Minimum layoffs? where do you think the $500M in savings came from? As the other response noted, companies like Amazon have added literally hundreds of thousands of jobs (in fact nearly a million) in recent years so cutting back by 10-20K is not that significant
and as for turning around, well yes DXC has been turning around and around in tighter and tighter 360 degree circles for nearly 6 years now

Usual bullsh-t making staff feel its bad that Microsoft, Amazon etc are laying off staff.

If you read the full picture these companies expanded massively over the last few years, so are reducing a fraction of their expansion, we are talking less than 10%.

Whereas the id--ts running this company have grown the company by -50% in the last 3 years of IT booming.

So stop pulling a fast one, we have lost 50 000 staff around 33% in the last few years alone.

If you cant grow in bo-m time your no good for anything, time to go.

We Need fresh leadership, cuts and beating up staff is rear window management. We need growth leaders.

Bye bye Mikey and the gang everyone has seen through your bull.

With Amazon, Microsoft, salesforce etc. are laying off people in thousands, you should be happy that this leadership is managing the company with minimum layoffs and turning around. now just shut up and go do your job and take care of your customers.
