today? I just ate a sammich, that's what's happening today
Legg just dumped 400+ Contractors and badges out by Jan 31. T trying to hit the magic cash number so the execs can hit bonus. Sad no one cares about making better products for customer. Just adding fake “value” by cutting employee payroll and trying to create artificial stock price increases. SMH. T is in bad shape. Run if you can.

Robert Walters was replaced by a guy with experience running an extensive contractor network... Read between the lines.
Agreed. I'm seeing a lot of contractors, people laid off then back as contractors, and large amounts of budget carved out for contractors...
No one is safe, evar!
I heard of a few who were T & then outsourced to Tech M let go.
I agree that HR has plenty work to get these people out the door for now. I also think that AT&T will do this in a more sporadic and drawn out fashion over the course of 2023 so they don't draw too much negative press like some of the other tech companies have done in the past weeks laying off in the tens of thousands at once.
Good luck to those affected. Look in indeed and other job sites you will be surprised by how many telcom jobs are listed for your skill sets. I firmly believe the jobs are not ending at AT&T but shifting to contract work, it's much cheaper for them to operate through them.
They filled up the HR queue yesterday. Probably won’t see anything new until 2/1 or after.
Nothing so far.
