I hear that there is a call this afternoon for AM’s with their Directors to discuss the impact for their teams. I don’t know if those under the AM’s will notify their subordinates of the impact after that call, or if those impacted will be notified tomorrow. I have no idea how they are going to do it, but they are most definitely not “done for now” as the OP is saying.

Rumor is the cuts last week in the Legg org was NOT the big one. His org is going to be hit again.
There will in-fact be surpluses announced the first week of February, perhaps more collaboration with the Union would shed some clarity. The last two rounds of layoffs had rumors circulating that proved to be true, this round will not be any different. Unfortunately, AT&T wants to outsource to install vendors across the operation.
CWA represented technicians with 30+ years that have no motivation to retire. It was done in 1989 and in 1998 and it be rolling around for one mo’ time, baby! And that’s a FACT, JACK!
Nice try, but this rumor was put to sleep months ago shortly after you started it and nobody took the bait! Just let it fizzle out and the bargained for employees will be much better off for it! I have 40 years of service and I'm the last technician T wants to get rid of due to my need to keep installing ATT services.
Enhanced 5-5 and $5k Offer will help the Company get rid of those stubborn Clingons!

Hearing the next round is Feb 13, last day on Payroll is Feb 28
Stop the madness with all of this speculation about layoffs. If it's not this month, maybe
next month, if not in February, then maybe March and on and on! The large layoff everyone is expecting is not gonna come! It's going to have minor impact just like the 4th quarter of last year when everyone expected the doomsday was near and nothing! Give it a rest already and hope for the best, but prepare!
Not done. Just planning the next round
We are a smaller company now. Got rid of DirecTV and Warner. Don't need those workers anymore.
Someone also made a mistake. More coming for many orgs in Feb. AT&T is horrible.
They stagger the layoffs simply due to the volume of calls that come into HR Onestop. Layoffs will continue with regular intervals.
Next round is mid February. Jen Robertson’s org for sure and possibly others.
If nothing happens this quarter, it'll be next quarter or maybe, the quarter after that or just maybe the quarter after that? Nobody knows for certain when, who or which organization will be affected by the layoffs! Everyone keeps coming on here and speculating worst case scenarios and so far, for all intents and purposes, crickets! Nothing large scale has happened! So, people relax and quit looking for the ax! It will find you if there's a target on your back. If it doesn't, consider yourself lucky!
You should know by now if your going to get laid off. If nobody comes to you for help with anything, or if you don't really know what you're doing and you're just skating by daily, you're probably in the crosshairs.
Many will not have to wait until 2Q. Keep in mind other orgs will follow different schedules. Jen Robertson's org (Mass Markets) is expected to have a 10% cut in February announced by her during a townhall in early December.
Yes, I agree. Next round 2Q2023!
