I have unscheduled 1:1 tomorrow morning and some detective work and it seems so does our entire team at different times. Quite confident we are getting cut. Quite honestly, feeling quite relieved and deep down have lot of respect for Intel and wish the company best and everyone still working the best! I felt my work was critical and was just promoted last year. Despite the politics, this company has been good to me.

Harder to tell nowadays, in the old days if the 1:1 was scheduled in a room near an exit and guard station you knew.
What are the names of these greener pastures everyone is so sure folks will end up? Give me some Names please.

In the past sometimes the entire group gets 1x1s so it is not obvious who is getting cut. Good luck, all.

Yep, just had my meeting this morning as well showed up on the calendar last-minute. Put in redeployment pool for 2 months. Honestly little let down due to an ego-hit of losing my current job, but I was set on leaving Intel anyways this spring for greener pastures so I will look at it as a positive and kick-in-the-pants to get my future going. Good luck to all affected, and also to all working through the next few phases of uncertainty.
@kmj, same. Although I wasn't as enthusiastic about my work during that time, that kinda gets lost when the company is constantly setting you up for failure.
I took and packed all of my personal stuff (including photos and decorations) The day I heard the faintest rumors. For three months, I worked at a totally bare desk.
I turned out that I had retired the week they pull the layoffs in spring 2016. What did I carry out that day? Just my wallet, the key to my bicycle, and the clothes on my back.
Entire team? Is the manager getting laid off too?
