Who is getting laid off has NOTHING to do with productivity and EVERYTHING to do with achieving more for the bottom line, which occurs by cutting the fat. With all the retail changes over the years there is less and less selling and more and more scripted or planned selling. Sure, there are opportunities out there, but fewer and fewer and now insta -cart etc, the payout just isn't there.
Also, DSD is really ending.....sound familiar?
The fact they allowed displaced employees to reapply for lesser pay is unbelievable, they have never done this before....and for good reason. They only did this because they have the benefit of having someone willing to work, who is already trained, for half the price. Completely unrealistic, we're experiencing INflation, not DEflation! Bills are going up, not down.
People are a pawn in their profit game......tells how much they care about their people. If this word got out to the general public it would put a real dent in how people view them as a company......spread the word. It does work.

@1gve, we have a couple of trolls making lame and irrelevant posts and calling each other out, their posts get deleted on a regular basis.
