Are they accepting voluntary surplus? Haven't gotten any meeting invites

The only reason to offer MVO now is to find out which management employees have one foot out the door. These people need a raise and a special bonus. The losers who won't volunteer probably aren't worth keeping.
“I volunteered in December. I won’t be ready to take my pension for more than 10 years. I want the 6moths pay to leave.”
Update- still here. I volunteered and they took someone else.
You can quit anytime
“ Besides, anyone that wants to volunteer to leave would have retired in November to get hundreds of thousands saved in their pension …”
I’m not sure how many times it need be said, but not everyone has the same pension. Many weren’t impacted.
IIL = Interest in Leaving. When they have an IIL, you submit that you're interested in leaving with a package. The company isn't under any obligation to actually surplus you though. But usually used to get someone who just wants a package to leave, and save someone who doesn't want to be surplussed.
What does IIL stand for?
You can always voluntarily quit. So you are free to do so. They will be happy you did so.
Yes, mobility ACE will have impacted calls followed with IIL end of month January. Surplus notification mid February with off payroll date of 3/3/2023. It’s about to get real people.
I volunteered in December. I won’t be ready to take my pension for more than 10 years. I want the 6moths pay to leave.
I had heard of many managers ( mine included) that told their folks to let them know if they are looking to leave. That was back a few months ago. And just because you offered yourself up, does not mean you will be surpluses.
I heard no volunteers this time around. Besides, anyone that wants to volunteer to leave would have retired in November to get hundreds of thousands saved in their pension versus a measly 6 month severance pay
Where can we find information for voluntary surplus
No
More BS
The people have been identified. It is too late to volunteer.
They will take voluntary into account, but it isn't mandatory for them to do so. They will do whatever is in their best interest.
They like involuntary better. They get more pleasure out of forcing out the ones that want to stay and keeping the ones that want to leave. HR isn’t happy until no one is happy.
