State Farm is outsourcing entire IT to India. Do you think Metlife may follow the route and outsource IT or any other departments to India for cost cutting.

It’ll start heavy towards the end of this year and into 2024 as the new Met tech hub in India is completed.
Avps and above are being notified to start identifying key resources and planning for a major switch to an offshore workforce for all of IT.
Of course. It is happening already. Why do you think a 4th building is going up?
Not just IT functions
There are Indian PMOs that act like they run the show.
And, I think they do.
It's all going there. They want people concentrated in offices. So, they know who is doing what and can downsize space if they can and outsource.
The tax breaks for payroll -- North Carolina and Tampa are getting in the way -- Otherwise a ton of people would already be outsourced!
Met is global & corporate-- they only care that US Benefits makes so much darn money!! But, US People-- They could care less about!
I'm surprised they haven't set up another, 2nd HQ! I bet that has come up before. Leaders are more and more from other countries. Maybe when 100's get pushed to India, they'll finally do it.
I'll take "YES" for $1000, Alex.
Um...where have you been over the past decade?
